I thought I’d start this blog out with a little good news…Medicare fees for diabetes testing supplies went up effective January 1. Check out the fee schedule amounts for 2009 along with information on floors and ceilings for all procedure codes and payment categories, jurisdictions, and a short description assigned to each procedure code.
Make sure your billers are aware of the fee changes.
Remember, Medicare beneficiaries can purchase their testing supplies from your pharmacy. While mail order is an option, it is NOT mandatory.
